Selecting outfits for your junior bridal

party members could possibly be one of your

most enjoyable experiences in the lead up to

your wedding day
There’s something rather special about the delightful expression on a little flower girl’s face as she twirls around in her dress, or the proud grin of a page boy who is wearing his very first suit. Co-ordinated well, your junior attendants can enhance your entire bridal party’s look and make a stylish statement.

Esme and Grace By Nicki Macfarlane

Even those brides who seek fashion forward

style for their bridal party will still

choose a traditional gown for their flower

girl essentially because little girls look

best when they're dressed as little girls
Melina Zipparo of Stellina Cute Couture For Children

Stellina Cute Couture For Children has introduced exclusively in Australia an exciting range of ready-to-wear flower girl and page boy wear by UK Designer, Nicki Macfarlane. Nicki Macfarlane was chosen to create the flower girl dresses for the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton.

It is an honour to be able to bring Nicki Macfarlane’s range to Australia, says Melina. Her designs are truly beautiful using rich fabrics with a clever combination of modern and traditional styling

Australian brides will even have the opportunity to dress their flower girls as Kate Middleton dressed her own flower girls with the inclusion of the “Eliza” dress in the new collection- a dress based on the The Royal Wedding flower girl dress design.

Hair styling options now go beyond fresh flowers or the traditional tiara- hair spirals and hairpins are on trend and these can create a sweet, subtle look- a few single pearl or crystal hairpins dotted around a stylised bun creates a gorgeous hair accent.

When it comes to jewellery and make-up,

less is definitely more- a fine bracelet and

perhaps a little light lip gloss on older age

flower girls is all that is needed for

 beautiful results

Sneak Peek

Our new issue hits the shelves this Wednesday - it's our biggest and best yet (yes, I know I always say that, but it really is!).

To get you all in the mood, here is a little sneak peek at one of my favourite stories - Bloom Boom. Featuring the timeless qualities of floral patterns, this story shows you how to bring just the right amount of pretty to a wedding with delicate florals and contemporary styling.

Not content with showing you every detail to style this theme, we've included a kids' table in the story, just right for all the little guests.

And the best part...Annabelle's daughter, Eliza, was our adorable little model. I can't wait to show you all the behind-the-scenes shots I took as she munched her way through handfuls of popcorn with us all watching on. She really did have the best time which is a pretty good indicator that your little guests will love it too.

For the Yunginz
It's always a hard task finding nice shoes for young children to wear to weddings. Not only is it hard but it's often the case that the 'nice' ones are super duper expensive. In 2007 Jenny Celebrin and Yolanda La Gorce experienced this and decided to do something about it... the Australian label Yunginz was born. With a great range of great looking and comfortable shoes that are made well you'll definitely get your money's worth. They also make a great range of boys shoes. To view the collections visit www.yunginz.com.au.

For the Kiddies
These days it's very common for children to be involved in weddings whether they are in the bridal party or just guests. Mini Style is a great website filled with great ideas for clothes and gifts for the little one's. It's always a nice idea, if you're having a kids table at your wedding, to have some bits and pieces on the table to keep them occupied. The rubber alphabet stamps are a great idea! They also have sweet silk dresses that would make cute flowergirl dresses. Visit www.ministyle.com.au to browse the collection.
