Welcome to the World
Our Editor, Annabelle and her husband Naish, welcomed to the world their first born, Eliza Arabella on Sunday. She is the most gorgeous little baby and certainly a mini-Annabelle in every way. Eliza has already been spoiled by her grandma with many lovely outfits from Burberry so she is sure to be the best dressed baby on the block.

In a While Crocodile
As a stationery enthusiast, I'm always looking for opportunities to design new pieces. On the weekend I designed some baby notecards for our London Calling correspondent, Elizabeth, who had a gorgeous baby boy a couple of weeks ago. Notecards can be used for so many different purposes - as thank you cards for gifts received, for Christening announcements or invitations to birthday parties so I'm sure they'll come in handy.

I found an illustration of a royal-looking alligator in one of my many clip art books and thought it looked regal enough to match his very English name. Elizabeth loves bright colours, so green it is. Matched with some coloured envelopes and tied with a pretty striped ribbon, they look so sweet.

Baby Buzz
Our London Calling correspondent, Elizabeth Syer and her partner Colin are the proud parents of Oliver Felix Hugo Dimmock who was born in London, Friday night our time. We are thrilled to welcome a new member to the Style Guide team and can't wait to share some photos when we get them.

True to form Elizabeth was still sending through emails with inspiring ideas right up until the day she gave birth. She is probably reading this blog from her hospital bed right now!

All we have to do now is work out what gift to send - maybe something like these adorable hoodie jackets from Seed.
